SEA MONKEYS: THE GODLY EXPANSION PACK (CRUDE PROTOTYPE)
Fun fact: Sea Monkeys are life that you create. While studying advertising at VCU, myself and a few friends (who may or may not want to be disassociated from this project forever, and whose names are definitely not “Allen,” “Soheil,” and “Simon”) decided to run with this fact and created a brand-new spin-off product: THE GODLY EXPANSION PACK.
I should note that I have been begged by multiple people whose opinions I deeply respect to remove this project from my portfolio and continue to refuse.
Also, while no Sea Monkeys were harmed in the actual creation of this project, when we were finished someone from the school’s administrative staff unfortunately dumped them in the sink.
First, we redesigned the tank to look like the Garden of Eden.
Next, we added some voice-commands. “Let there be light” turns on the light, and “let there be thunder” causes the tank to shake.
THE GODLY EXPANSION PACK would also include an app, which would send you feeding reminders in the form of personalized prayers.
Send us your photo, and we’ll 3-D print a statue of you for your sea monkeys to gather around and worship.
Lastly, and this is no joke, there are powders you can use to control your Sea Monkeys behavior. That already exists, we just gave them more biblical names.
